A Faithful and Creative Approach — 4.0 out of 5 stars

By H. Franklin Showers | August 31, 2009

I find this approach to the mission of Chriatianity both faithful and creative. For too long Christians have viewed themselves as individuals called to live a moral life like Jesus. All along Jesus was calling us to be body builders. We each have unique gifts to contribute. We are on a team that when fully functioning changes the world. This book challenges you to accept your role on Christ’s team.

The Ultimate Coach — 5.0 out of 5 stars

By A. Sickels   | October 8, 2009

With Jesus as the “Ultimate Coach”, Christ’s Team author Bob Frank coins a delightful description of the Christian Church in the modern era. To an audience of new believers, or seasoned, who want a fresh way to root for our side on this playing field of life, Frank uses his scientific background to merge both the mind and heart to reach the goal of forgiveness and eternal life from a loving God. From his interpretation of the Lord’s Prayer to Luther’s Small Catechism in modern prose, he offers language to describe the value of main-line Protestantism to those outside of it; and a handy compass for those who are often lost on the inside. As evidence for Frank’s hopeful confidence in the scientific/Christian success in the future as “creativity accelerates”, this is the first “book” I have ever read entirely on-line. Wow- nothing to return to a library or friend, or store forever on a bookshelf. Like the one who offers a cool cup of water for the tired lineman who sweatingly returns to the bench, Frank makes a good team manager.
